Crabu

Semi-cooked cheese, produced from goat’s milk of Monte Linas area.

The area of Monte Linas is one of the most important place in Sardinia where goat rearing are fed by allowing goats to graze with typical Mediterranean shrubs that give to the milk its particular aroma and flavor.

INGREDIENTS: goat milk, rennet and salt
WEIGHT: 2.5 – 3.0 kg.
SHAPE: bowed
RIND: smooth, treated surface with olive pomace oil which gives it its dark brown color
TEXTURE: uniform, white color, aroma that recalls the scents of the Mediterranean, strong but pleasant flavor
SEASONING: longer than 90 days
